Visitor Engagement Associate
Fine art museum and public garden. FREE for good thanks to donors, sponsors and members. Founded in 1976 by Hugo and Margaret Dixon, the Dixon Gallery and Gardens is a fine art museum and public garden distinguished by its diverse and innovative programs in the arts and horticulture. In addition to the collection of French masterpieces, porcelain, and pewter, every year, the Dixon organizes and presents eight to ten exhibitions, the diversity of which appeals to visitors of all ages.
This position is stationed in either the Catmur Foyer or the Admission Booth and is responsible for greeting all guests in a friendly and positive manner, processing first-time memberships and membership renewals, answering questions about the museum’s history and exhibitions, and informing guests of current events in the museum and gardens.
