Insiders know best! We offer four core classes, providing in-depth destination knowledge about specific neighborhoods, plus highlights that are off the beaten path, info about our area's main attractions, and a reinforcement of the Welcome to Memphis customer service standard (Smile. Welcome. Thank you.) In our interactive format, you’ll develop your personal favorites lists to recommend.

Fast moving, information packed. Join host Tad Pierson of American Dream Safari and his featured guests as they cruise around Downtown, checking out the sites and finding out what Memphis is all about. Each tour tells a story and shares significant details about Memphis legacy and amenities. Between each tour, participants team up to create their personal recommendations for visitors. Additional information and resources are provided. Allow two hours.

Memphis Insider: History.

Learn how the history of Memphis shaped our current landscape of tourist destinations, from Civil Rights to music to our unique brand of entrepreneurship, including significant details that will resonate with your visitors. This class is taught by Shelby County historian Jimmy Ogle. Allow one hour.
